I am 2nd time stay in the hotel, the Deluxe Room still give me appropriate satisfaction, however, the hotel seem old and do not proper maintained and the disappointing incident began. I experiencing dirty water from bathtub in the midnight even after reception send technician to inspect and react on the issue, thanks to helpful reception and manager on duty, I had been upgraded the room to next level at first. But, here is some disappointing part where the reception do not consider why I need to change room and request for upgrade.

I complaint that dirty water come out from the bathtub and I had been transfer to a room without bathtub, is this meet guest expectation? After talk to the reception again, seem he have no idea what to do next, I, as a guest, need to tell him that there should be other room that have bathtub although that room might be higher tier room level and he mentioned that he required manager on duty permission. After a short while, I had been arranged to transfer to another room again, I been told that the room is the highest tier room available that come with bathtub(experience dirty water not only come out from bathtub but also in the hand wash, toilet bowl and living hall kitchen area everyday, I am sure other guest experiencing the same). Here is another nightmare for me.

When I book my room, I choose non-smoking room, but, the room full of tobacco smell. Even after guest friendly staff help to freshening the room and initiatively provide air treatment device in the bed room but the tobacco smell in the living hall is very strong and already inside the curtain and other furnitures. I am seldom go to living area for the rest of my 3 nights stay even on the 2nd day, I am in the bed room for the entire day without sitting in the living area. This is ridiculous, penalty impose to the customer if found tobacco smell in the non smoking room but the house keeping do not well clean all of tobacco smell in the living area and I am confident that no wash or change of the curtain for weeks even months. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet are lack of variety, food are too salty, replenishment of food take very long, requested green tea took almost 10 minutes. I do tried having my dinner at Jade restaurant but I am doubtful of the freshness of the food served, the fried bean curd feel already deteriorated as not every piece of fried bean curd taste the same.In summary, this is not supposed a 5 star hotel standard, without improvement in hotel interior, including piping or water filtration, house keeping, food variety and taste, not to mention of different serving standard from the welcoming benefit and insufficient staff, the hotel need to re-evaluate is it suitable to claim as 5 star hotel. The hospitality for welcoming us is very good, and i notice one of the housekeeper in the 3rd floor is very humble.

3 times having 5 days in this hotel and with the same housekeeper with his great hospitality.once, the laundry make the list of my pajamas shrink but the next day they come to give me my pajamas in the good condition. And also the laundry help me to sew the button of my uniform.i am very satisfied about the service and hospitality.but my last experience, the toilet of the room number 312 is smelly since i came in the day one.overall the hospitality of this hotel is very great.
